Massage Therapy is one of the 28 healthcare professions in Ontario that’s governed by the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 & the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO).

As a patient seeking Massage Therapy treatment, you have the right to:
• Access safe, confidential and ethical care.
• Be fully informed about the treatment plan along with the risks and benefits before beginning Massage Therapy.
• Ask questions or raise concerns with your Massage Therapist about the recommended care.
• Bring a person along with you to the appointment while you’re being assessed or treated.
• Give or refuse consent. You can also withdraw your consent at any time during treatment.
• Be assured that your health information stays confidential.
• Ask to see or transfer your health record to another health professional any time, for any reason.

Christina has been in practice since 2011, after graduating from Sutherland Chan Massage School & Teaching Clinic in Toronto, Canada.

What to expect Each treatment beings with your completed Health History Intake Form and Consent to Treat Sensitive Areas Form. Your treatment goals and a clinical assessment will be discussed beforehand to ensure a safe and effective treatment.

Therapeutic Breast/Chest Massage This treatment supports breast and chest wall health, with focus on the surrounding fascia, tendons, ligaments and lymphatic system. It’s a post-surgical-friendly option for individuals recovering from mastectomy, augmentation, gender-affirming or heart/lung surgery. This is a specific treatment that is not automatically included in every session and involves additional consent. If post-operative, please seek clearance from your surgeon prior to treatment.

Manual Scar Tissue Release Therapy Any scar tissue be it surgery or injury related. Gentle yet affective manual scar tissue release techniques including silicone cupping, hot/cold stones, steam towels, cold compresses and paraffin wax treatments.

Hydrotherapy Utilizing hot and cold modalities to increase the tissue pliability and circulation consisting of: - heat therapy with steam towels, heating pad, paraffin wax or hot stone for point specific treatments; - cryotherapy with cold towel wraps, marble stones or ice cubes massaging dynamically to reduce inflammation, swelling & edema.

Indie Scalp Massage Focus areas are upper shoulders, neck, scalp, face. This treatment includes use of some oil, hot stones and Gua Sha lymphatic face massage tool. Arrive with unwashed hair and be prepared to fall asleep!

Mobile Chair Massage NO OIL! This over clothes massage is perfect for an urgent visit or lunch break fix up.

Kinesiology/Athletic Taping used most often for support and relief of repetitive strain injuries, pregnant bellies and scar tissue recovery so as to extend the effects of your massage treatment.

Neurodivergent “Neurodivergent is a nonmedical term that describes people whose brains develop or work differently….this means the person has different strengths and struggles from people whose brains develop or work more typically.
